I’m thrilled to share that I recently received the Judges’ Choice Award for my photograph, GOOSE TORNADO, showcased at the Cascadia Photographers Exhibition during the 2024 Washington State Fair. This photo holds a special place in my heart—it was taken near my home, amidst peaceful farmland.
One afternoon, I visited my favorite birding spot and was captivated by the sight of several hundred Cackling Geese. They took to the skies repeatedly, swirling like a living tornado before settling back into the field. Witnessing their mesmerizing choreography inspired me to capture the moment.
